It's Grad Time for Sean

Most relaxing session….is the best to describe this session. To venture around the downtown area and discover more art in the city was the greatest experience with this grad. Sean is getting ready to tackle college and looking forward to the Engineering field! Since my husband is an engineer, this made for an easy conversation while we had our hour capture time. Very excited to launch this gallery in the coming week. Enjoy a few sneak peeks for this grad! Thank you for choosing RLH to capture this milestone! May God Bless your future Sean!

A Walk with Riverside

YES!! Even though our blog has been rather quiet….we are working a TON behind the scenes on several projects. It’s exciting and the more and more businesses we partner up with, the more fascinated we become and thrilled to see what the future holds. For now, I’d like to introduce back to our portfolio: Riverside Engineering. This is a company based out of San Antonio, Texas that specializes in MegaShredders!

They were seeking updated stock photography for a brochure this years 2019 convention. It was a pleasure to get created and help them look their best. Thank You Riverside for partnering up with us. Enjoy these few captures and check on Instagram for a few more.

First Wedding of the Year

And it came so fast!! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to capture these moments in our community. The story behind this engagement is priceless….and even made the radio! Now they get to spend the rest of their days making adventures happen and live life to the fullest as husband and wife.

For now, I’d like to share with my followers my first storyboard of a wedding day with Jim & Karen. Enjoy!

As they get ready…

Now let us introduce this fantastic wedding party! Their love for children is beyond and they included that in their wedding. It was one of the best wedding parties we’ve had yet!! They all looked so grown up and acted the part too! We are so proud of all you munchkins, especially the Maid of Honor and Best Man ;) (Just picking).

Then it’s showtime….and the ceremony begins. As Karen’s Mother walks her down…even though they had their first look, Jim is still so caught up in the feelings of emotion. I’ve seen this several times at weddings that choose the first look. There is so much energy once the room is filled with all those that you love….the emotions are there regardless. These are priceless moments that will forever be in your hearts.

During this ceremony, we got to witness something different. Instead of a candle, sand, tying a knot, etc….they joined soil into the base of this tree and then watered it as we need to do in our marriages. Now this can be planted and they can watch it grow with their love for years to come. I was filled with sooo much joy to witness this part! As a lover of nature, this warmed my soul.

We’ll save the kiss for them….so now, we’ll jump straight into the party! With face painting, balloon artist, a PhotoBooth, square dancing, taking a trip in a combine on the dance floor, dollar dash with the kiddos collecting and soooo much more. This was one of the best weddings we’ve captured yet! And did I mention, they just planned this a few months ago? Enjoy some of these moments below.

And the toast of course…..not to worry, they had sparkling apple juice and thought they were BIG TIME!!

Back in the Saddle....again!

And here we go!! Another magical upcoming wedding in mid-2019 we are blessed to be a part of! We are looking forward to creating some art with these fine folks! For their engagement, I got to venture down to see one Joe’s (my horse) old neigh-bors! Ms. Tia is doing so GREAT in her new home and looks just as beautiful even with her full winter coat.

No better way to resurface from a health crisis then with some of my favorite people and the smell of horses. <yes, may sound awkward, but it soothes my soul>.

Wrangled the snow to get to and from the session and it was SOOO worth it! Horse-lovers…Enjoy these few captures to feast your souls on. And stay tuned to our Instagram for a few more!

I truly appreciate each and every one of my clients and potentials that has pursued us or patiently awaited my return to work. It took the entire month of January to get caught back up on the back-log and now tackling the upcoming swing of spring!!! It’s on the WAY!

The Star Adoption Celebration

What a heart-warming event, filled with laughter, tears and joy beyond held at the gorgeous venue: Sweetwater. This 20th celebration was amazing to be apart of as Melissa Montana heads up one of the neatest events to connect families to organizations that have all the children at their best interest. We are so blessed to capture these moments and the outpouring love that was shared by singer/songwriter Follow Mark Schultz. Sharing the stories of the impact adoption has on so many lives and the opportunities that only come through this beautiful gift. Enjoy a few of these moments and feel free to contact Star 88.3 through their Adoption Page. Thank you Star family for the invitation back, it’s truly our pleasure! ♥
